The conditions of adding people to a group are as follows:

• You must have already registered to use Active Chat (need to register?).
• You must be a member of a group with users totalling more than one.

Note: In this example the groupname is called "myfriends" and the nicknames of the users are "alex" and "weasel".

To private message a member of your group you use the following message structure:

• Start a text message
  
  
• type <groupname> <pmsg> <nickname> <message>
  
  
• send the text message to the following number: 07970700800

For our example the user "weasel" sends a member of his group "alex" a private message by doing the following: (see fig 1.)

• Start a text message
  
  
• type myfriends pmsg alex Hi, how are u?
  
  
• send the text message to the following number: 07970700800

The message received by alex from weasel is shown in fig 2.
