The conditions of joinging a group are as follows:

• You must have already registered to use Active Chat (need to register?)

Note: In this example the groupname is called "myfriends".

You will have received a message from the administrator telling you that you have been added to a group.

The message sent is:

"You've been added to the <groupname> group. To become active in this group, send <groupname> joingroup to 07970 700 800. www.activechat.co.uk"

In our example for the group "myfriends" you would receive the following message:

"You've been added to the myfriends group. To become active in this group, send myfriends joingroup to 07970 700 800. www.activechat.co.uk" -

To join the group do the following: (see fig 2.)

• Start a text message
  
  
• type myfriends space joingroup
  
  
• send the text message to the following number: 07970700800

Once you have joined the group you will see the following message: (see fig 3.)

"OK, you've joined the <groupname> group. To leave, send <groupname> leavegroup to 07970700800"

In our example for the group "myfriends" you would receive the following message:

"OK, you've joined the myfriends group. To leave, send myfriends leavegroup to 07970700800"
